• I'm Sara. I'm the mommy to two little boys, ages 2 and 7 years old. I was diagnosed with stage 4 Burkitts Lymphoma in February 2007. I went through hi-dose chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant. After all that I have been in remission for over a year now. I raise Ameraucana, Araucana, and Orpington chickens. We have a small herd of beef cattle. There are also 2 dogs and 2 cats here. I enjoy quilting, and try to work on project when I have time. I enjoy being at home, taking care of my kids, animals, and our home.

Good news

Monday I had my regular CT scan and blood-work to make sure my cancer doesn’t return.  Blood Work was great, and scan is clear!  It’s been two years since my diagnosis, and 16 months since my stem cell transplant.  My doctor is happy with the way it has gone.  I am getting my mediport out [...]
