I figured since it snowed leaving nothing much to do outside I should sit down and update.
I had my port removed on February 20th. It feels like closure to the whole experience. I hope that it allows me to begin to think of the future again. Oddly enough I had it removed exactly two years after having it put in. I had mentioned to my husband while waiting to be taken down to the operating room that it had to be around the same time. Once I was home and settled I looked through my wallet and found the date on the card, February 20, 2007. I thought it was ironic.
My husband turned 30 on the 25th of February. It’s exciting to me because he’s been teasing me about it since Novemeber when I turned 30.
I’ve been sewing again. I have so many quilt tops that need finished. I did start one other quilt because I loved the one my mom made and just needed to have one too. She wouldn’t give it to me so it left me no choice but to buy the fabric and do it. I’m also doing two quilt block swaps online right not so there is lots of sewing that needs done.

I also made some cute chicken pin cushions after seeing the idea online. I tried listing one on Ebay, but don’t know if anyone will find them as cute as I do. Here is the listing.
