• I'm Sara. I'm the mommy to two little boys, ages 2 and 7 years old. I was diagnosed with stage 4 Burkitts Lymphoma in February 2007. I went through hi-dose chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant. After all that I have been in remission for over a year now. I raise Ameraucana, Araucana, and Orpington chickens. We have a small herd of beef cattle. There are also 2 dogs and 2 cats here. Spring is Almost Here

Spring is upon us, so don’t forget your daffodils.  I can’t imagine a better cause to support than the American Cancer Society.  This year the vase is a really pretty purple!

And speaking of spring, I wonder if I’ll be able to hatch enough spring chicks in this:

And more spring, a baby calf.  Amazingly it’s a bull calf, we had a real run of heifer calves, don’t think we have had a bull in a couple years.

Brent has his first baseball practice tonight.  He is very excited about it.  He also got to stay after school for the webkinz club yesterday because his behavior has been so much better.

And finally if you have a spare prayer.  Please pray for my dad, he could use it.

  1. You know, I saw the daffodils out in the feed store just the other day! I’ll make sure to stock up :) I love them.

And holy lucky. When you want to ditch that bator, let me know. After a remodel, I’ll have enough room for it. LOL!
